Formula Sailcraft now produce high quality Impulse dinghys to a new fast shape which combines the best features of current successful designs plus some of our own ideas all in to one.

Jim Scott competed in the recent Impulse Vic State Titles sailing the new White Noise 589. Despite having sailed an Impulse previously on only half a dozen occasions, Jim managed to finish 4th overall including one heat win.

The new Formula Sailcraft Impulse is proving fast on all points of sail and in all conditions with great Nationals winning potential.

The new moulded Impulse Dinghys are built using Vinylester Resin and finished in tough FGI Aquaguard gelcoat. Hull and deck shells are manufactured in our modern boatbuilding facility using advanced vacuum bagging technology.

Formula Sailcraft moulded Impulses are carefully constructed to be light, stiff and fast whilst also incorporating adequate strength in the important areas to achieve a long lasting, low maintenance boat.

We now produce moulded Impulse foils.

The shape is a NACA section for low drag and high lift.

The moulded foils are made from carbon fibre laminated in new generation vinylester resin with cores of PVC foam and end grain balsa. The srface finish is tough isophthalic polyester gelcoat in standard white with other colours available.
